The Joint Seminar of the Economics Departments in Bonn & Cologne hosts a prestigious conference series this semester:

The REStud Tour 2017
(aka “The Review of Economic Studies May Meetings”)

Date: May 8, 10 am – 3 pm, and May 9, 9 am – 5 pm
Place: Günnewig Hotel Residence, Bonn (Map)

Every year, The Review of Economic Studies selects the most promising job market candidates in the world from economics and finance and invites them to present their research at selected European universities. Since the speakers are promising candidates from the recent job market, they might not be well-known yet, but the experience from previous years has shown that many ‘upcoming stars’ are usually among the speakers of the REStud tour.
