An interview with Professor Axel Ockenfels

Last year, Professor Axel Ockenfels spent several months researching at Stanford University. In an interview with the International Office (University of Cologne), he talks about his experiences in California, his research – and what he does when he isn’t thinking.

Axel Ockenfels is recipient of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize and has been serving as the speaker of the University of Cologne's Excellence Center for Social and Economic Behavior (C-SEB) since 2015. According to the Global Thought Leader Index, since 2015 he can count himself among the most influential thinkers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
