Master Thesis

With the master thesis, which covers an amount of 24 credit points, students are supposed to prove their ability to work independently on a problem using scientific methods within a given deadline.

The topic of the master thesis should usually be chosen out of the area of the compulsory subjects or of the elective subject. Students can sign up for the master thesis whenever they have passed at least one exam in the relevant area/subject successfully.

The processing time for the master thesis will take approximately two months. If the student’s thesis relates to an empirical, experimental or mathematical topic the processing time takes three months. 30 pages should not be exceeded.
