Winners of the Awards

Camelot Innovative Value Chain Thesis Award

The strategy and organizational consultants award the Camelot Innovative Value Chain Thesis Awards to outstanding theses on supply chain management and value chain management subjects. The winners of the second Camelot Innovative Value Chain Thesis Award were announced at a festive ceremony on November 9 in Mannheim.

This year’s first place goes to Michael Becker-Peth (University of Cologne) who convinced the jury with his thesis on “Behavioral Supply Chain Contracting – Decision Biases in Behavioral Operations Management”. The second place went to Justus Arne Schwarz (University Mannheim), third was Robin Killian (University of Vienna).

The top-flight jury once again had a difficult task at the second Camelot Innovative Value Chain Thesis Award. “It was not easy to make our selection as all the submitted theses were at a very high level,” says Dr. Josef Packowski, Managing Partner of Camelot Management Consultants and member of the jury for the Camelot Innovative Value Chain Thesis Award. “All the works dealt with exciting aspects and novel approaches to supply chain management and value chain management topics.”
