Endowed Chair of Business Administration

Since April 2018, Christian Schwens is a new professor at the WiSo Faculty. His research focuses on the internationalization of technology companies (nanotechnology, biotechnology, microsystems technology and renewable energies), international entrepreneurship, market entry strategies, international strategic alliances and the internationalization of medium-sized companies.

Prior to this, Christian Schwens held the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Management at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. His research has been presented at numerous national and international conferences and published in international journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), Journal of Management Studies (JMS), Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (ETP), Journal of World Business (JWB), International Business Review (IBR), Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM).

Christian Schwens is a senior editor at the Journal of World Business (responsible for Entrepreneurship, Technology and Internationalization) and a member of the Editorial Review Board of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. We are very pleased to welcome Christian Schwens to our faculty!
