In the last decade, researchers in economics, political science, and sociology have provided a multitude of new insights into the regularities and origins of human behavior in social and economic contexts. The Conference "Public Policy and Social & Economic Behavior" focuses at the implications of these findings for the design of public policies. It comprises a public lecture and four sessions on different topics. Roger Farmer (UCLA) delivers the public lecture on “Unemployment and Financial Crises”.
