Ranking in Business Administration 2014

Together with University of Hamburg and Technical University of Munich the University of Cologne ranked as second best

In the latest business administration ranking by the “Handelsblatt” (Top 250 life’s work) the University of Cologne shares with University of Hamburg and the Technical University of Munich the second place considering the number of represented researchers. In German-speaking countries (including Austria and Switzerland) the three are ranked as sixth. A total of eight researchers at the University of Cologne are represented in the ranking. At the University of Cologne Herr Prof. Dr. Horst Tempelmeier und Herr Prof. Dr. Ulrich Thonemann (both from the Supply Chain Management-Area) ranked as best. Congratulations to all ranked researchers!

The Handelsblatt study is based on internationally accepted standards for the evaluation of economic research. Publications in journals whose different quality is taken into account are considered. The ranking is created by the Economic Research at ETH Zurich for “Handelsblatt”.
