In the last decade, researchers in economics, political science, and sociology have provided a multitude of new insights into the regularities and origins of human behavior in social and economic contexts. The Conference "Public Policy and Social & Economic Behavior" focuses at the implications of these findings for the design of public policies. It comprises a public lecture and four sessions on different topics. Roger Farmer (UCLA) delivers the public lecture on “Unemployment and Financial Crises”. The sessions feature talks by renowned international scholars from all involved disciplines.
