The Kuratorium Deutsche Altershilfe has elected Professor Dr. Frank Schulz-Nieswandt as chairman. Frank Schulz-Nieswandt is full professor at the chair for Social Policy and Methods of Qualitative Social Research at the Institute of Sociology and Social Psychology (ISS). He is also the executive director at the Department of Cooperative Studies at the University of Cologne.

Tuesday, the 22th of March 2016, there was an extraordinary general assembly of the Kuratorium Deutsche Altershilfe in Cologne. Within this meeting, the new chair was voted. Dr. Almut Satrapa-Schill and Ulrich Christofczik were elected to vice chairwoman and vice chairman.
