Our Heritage:
WiSo was founded in 1901 as a School of Commerce. Since then, it has extended its scope to Economics, Sociology, and Politics. Now, we have over a century of experience in the education of new generations of business professionals, economists, sociologists, and political experts. During this time, we have developed a tradition of close dialogue with our stakeholders and have focused on scientific research that is relevant to the corporate world, to economic policy, and to society at large. We are located in the heart of Europe, in a city that has been a centre of international trade and commerce for over two thousand years.
