Honorary doctorate to Prof. Dr. Gert G. Wagner

On January 8 as part of the IWP lecture series

Prof. Dr. Gert G. Wagner (Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, Berlin) will give a lecture on "Costs less inequality growth? On the significance of different objectives in the 'distribution debate'" within the lecture series of the Institute for Economic Policy (IWP).

This event will also include the award of a honorary doctorate in economics and social sciences (Dr. rer. pol. h. c.) to Prof. Dr. Gert G. Wagner. The WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne honours Professor Wagner for his achievements in the empirically based economic and social sciences, not only as author and publisher of numerous scientific publications, but also as promoter and mediator of the dialogue between science and practice.
