Five of School’s researchers in the top 50

Prof. Dr. Matthias Sutter

In the current Handelsblatt Economics 2017 ranking, which lists the most research intensive economists of the last five years in German-speaking countries, five researchers from the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences are within the top 50 list.

• Rank 20: Carlos Alos-Ferrer
• Rank 22: Patrick Schmitz
• Rank 31: Felix Bierbrauer
• Rank 48: Axel Ockenfels

Matthias Sutter achieved the highest ranking in the German-speaking area (DACH) with the fifth place (second in Germany).

In a separate ranking, the overall lifetime performance is ranked. Our researchers achieved following positions:

• Rank 99: Carlos Alos-Ferrer
• Rank 109: Axel Ockenfels
• Rank 114: Jörg Breitung
• Rank 185: Andreas Schabert

The overall research performance of the researchers under 40 years is also listed. Oliver Gürtler was able to claim #14 place and Dominik Wied # 57.
