In this year's Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking, the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo Faculty) of the University of Cologne maintains position 66 with the Master of Science Business Administration worldwide. Many section are used for the ranking, but only a few of them refer to the career success that is important for an applicant. Two important fields are the salary and career progress rank three years after graduation. In terms of salary, the school’s master programme is on the fifth place in Germany, and in the "Career Progress Rank" in the first place.

The CEMS programme of the Master's in International Management (CEMS MIM) is ranked ninth worldwide. This excellent positioning also confirms the success and worldwide recognition of the internationalization process of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne.
