DACH Forum 22 – 25 May 2014

hosted by University of Cologne

DACH Forum

The DACH Forum 2014 under the slogan “European Business Growth in a Globalized World” was hosted by University of Cologne and the local CEMS Student Club. The 65 participants mainly from DACH countries but also from Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain arrived on May 22 to enjoy a four day intense package of corporate, sociopolitical and networking events. In cooperation with McKinsey&Company, Google, Salesforce, Beiersdorf and Proctor&Gamble, every participant was able to take part on two out of six challenging Skills Seminars and gain valuable group working experience with their fellow CEMS students. Furthermore, Henkel and PriceWaterhouseCoopers welcomed the participants in their local headquarters for an interactive and informative company visit. Between the official events there was an opportunity to taste the local kitchen and get to know the beautiful city of Cologne within the framework of a city rally. The forum reached its high point on Saturday evening’s Summery Party followed by the last corporate and networking event, the Flying dinner. The overall very positive feedback of the participants and corporate partners recognized the hard work of the enthusiastic organizing team, who is looking forward to welcome in three years’ time the DACH Forum again in Cologne!

(The DACH Forum is a pan-European event bringing together CEMS students from all over the world and companies to exchange experience, as well as to enhance academic and professional knowledge. It’s a yearly event organized within the cluster of the DACH countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) of the CEMS Union.)
