Christoph Sonnenschein became the Chairman for the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)

On 16 October 2015, the Partnership in International Management (PIM) elected Christoph Sonnenschein Chairman for the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr. Sonnenschein is director of the International Relations Center at the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne and prevailed at the election as new Chairman over totally 62 other Business Schools.

The Partnership in International Management is a consortium of top business schools from around the world and is devoted to student’s mobility with a focus on special exchange programmes of various kinds. Mr Sonnenschein has been elected for a period of 3 years. He looks forward to the task to assist the PIM network, to which most of the important partners oft he WiSo faculty belong, in a leading role. Besides advocacy of current members his focus will be the strategic expansion of the network on the African continent.
