Cologne economist in the top group of the 400 most influential idea providers

Professor Dr. Axel Ockenfels was profiled as one of the most influential idea providers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the Global Thought Leader Index 2015. The index maps the conversation in the internet and its most influential vote. Different lists determined by the GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute and The WorldPost with the collaboration of the MIT-researcher Peter Gloor contain almost 400 contemporary thinkers.

In the German speaking countries Professor Ockenfels is on rank 31.
