Dear users and visitors of the WiSo building,

In October 2019, started the renovation of the WiSo main building and the flat wing (connection to the main university building). The renovation is necessary for technical, fire protection and energy-efficient reasons.
The renovation will bring about some changes in WiSo‘s working and teaching environment. We have put together a summary on this page to give you an overview of the measures and changes.

Alternative lecture halls: the lecture halls XXIII to XXV can still be used during the renovation phase of the WiSo main building. For lectures und courses that usually take place in lecture hall I, alternative lecture halls have been reserved and booked on campus. You can find these in the current KLIPS online course catalogue for all relevant courses. The usual time slots could be taken into account for almost all lectures in order to avoid overlapping. A similar procedure is applied to lecture halls XXIII to XXV during the renovation phase of the WiSo flat wing.

Relocation of offices and chairs to Zollstock: During the renovation of the WiSo main building, the chairs located there are accommodated in rented premises in Zollstock. In addition to 40 offices, two seminar rooms and one pc seminar room with a total of 118 work and study places in Sibille-Hartmann-Str. 2-8, 50969 Köln, as well as further three seminar rooms are available from October 2019 in Bernhard-Feilchenfeld-Str. 9, 50969 Köln. With the Bistro Zolllstock, a gastronomic offer of the Cologne Studierendenwerk is available in the heart of Cologne Zollstock.
