Our alumnus Uwe Link (graduation year 2011) studied Social Sciences with a focus on Sociology at the WiSo Faculty of the University of Cologne. During his studies he was Managing Director of OSCAR GmbH, one of the most successful student consulting companies with its headquarters in Cologne. After starting his career as a trainee at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt in 2011, Uwe Link has been employed as Assistant Vice President in HR Business Advisory at the Düsseldorf office since 2015.

Due to an internal event, the morning consultation hour by telephone will end at 09.45 on thursday, 14.12.2017.

The examination office is closed on that day.

Due to an internal information event the personal consultation hours in the morning and the telephone consultation hour have to be cancelled on Thursday 14th December, 2017. The personal consultation hours in the afternoon are offered as usual.

From 22nd December, 2017 till 1st January, 2018 the WiSo Student Service office‘ stays closed. As of 2nd January 2018, the WiSo Student Service team will offer consultation hours as usual.

2. Accenture Design Thinking Academy, February 2, 2018, 10 am to 5 pm (Uni Köln)

Digital Transformation brings a lot of possibilities and a lot of speed to our world. The need to be innovate becomes imperative to stay ahead -Businesses are bringing Design Thinking in-house. Design Thinking is the adoption of a design mindset and human-centric design methods to solve problems, frame opportunities and achieve innovation. Language: The course will be in English or German depending on the participants!

The ZIB WiSo offers ERASMUS funds to support internships abroad. If you plan to take an internship abroad, please check if this would be eligible for ERASMUS funding:
-    internship length: min. 2 months
-    internship place: in a ERASMUS countries
-    internship salary: allowed (amount depends on country)
