Career “Thursday” with the student initiatives on May 3, 2018

Dear students,

On May 3rd our Career “Thursday” takes place, where the student initiatives of the WiSo-faculty introduce themselves: 

The following initiatives will take part: MTP KölnEnactus Universität zu Kölnbdvb Hochschulgruppe KölnEntrepreneurs Club Cologne - ECCPIM & CEMS Student and Alumni Club Cologne e.V.oikos Köln e.V.World Business Dialogue 2018AIESEC and the Investment Strategy Club Cologne.

Student initiatives offer the opportunity to take over responsible positions even during the studies. Students can develop capabilities such as leading people or working in a team and also gain practical experiences. These experiences are an optimal preparation for bigger tasks after university life.

Amazon logistics center tour

You can still apply for the Amazon logistics center tour in Koblenz:

The program will include the following topics:

  • Presentation about amazons way of thinking
  • Guided tour of the logistics center
  • Q&A session with the management

Go East Initiative - „Russia in practice“

The DAAD offers scholarships for the program “Russia in practice” which is part of the “Go East Initiative”. The program consists of a six month internship in German companies based in Russia in fall term 2018/19 as well as a study module “Doing Business in Russia” at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow. The funding includes a monthly support of 950€, the travel allowance, medical insurance and a Russian language course. 

Applications can be submitted by undergraduate students in their final year, graduates and young professionals (up to 5 years after graduation) until 31 May 2018. Further information regarding the program and the application can be found on the DAAD "Go East" website. Please also see the website of the “Deutsch-Russische Auslandshandelskammer”.
