Vom 05. bis zum 06.10. veranstalten wir einen zweitägigen Workshop mit einer externen Trainerin zum Thema "Lebensziele – Was wirklich zählt".

Im Workshop werden persönliche Lebensziele auf der Basis persönlicher Stärken und Werte formuliert und eine konkrete Umsetzungsplanung entwickelt. Dabei ist der Workshop geprägt durch ein hohes Maß an Interaktivität und bietet zahlreiche Übungsplanformen zur direkten Anwendung des erlernten Wissens. Aktuelle neurophysiologische Erkenntnisse liegen der didaktischen Planung zugrunde.

Wann: Donnerstag 05.10.2017 und Freitag 06.10.2017 von 9 bis 17 Uhr

Wo: S3 und S2 im Grünen Modulbau

Achtung: die Anzahl der Plätze ist begrenzt. Bitte melden Sie sich nur für das Training an, wenn Sie auch wirklich teilnehmen möchten. Die Anmeldung läuft über unsere Karrieredatenbank. Die Plätze werden nach Anmeldezeitpunkt vergeben.

In this Intercultural Training workshop, you will learn how to embrace cultural differences and how to face daily life situations while at university, during career internships and in recruiting/interviewing environments. During the workshop, you will interact with other students to find solutions for overcoming possible challenges that you may experience.
Topics covered include:

• Hello Germany! - Your first days at the university
• How to start your university experience the best way while considering cultural differences?
• What should you expect and what will be expected of you?
• Do's and Don'ts at university, work etc.
• The application process - what are the main differences and challenges?

Der Nürburgring und seine Bedeutung in einer strukturschwachen Region

Den Teilnehmern wird der Nürburgring als Unternehmen, Rennstrecke und Veranstaltungsort vorgestellt. Es bleibt Zeit für eine Aussprache darüber, aus der Ideen für eine universitäre Weiterarbeit an spezifischen Themen erwachsen können, wofür der Nürburgring seine Ressourcen verfügbar machen und tätige Unterstützung leisten will. Im Anschluss erfolgt eine spezielle Führung für die Teilnehmer über den Nürburgring, in dem auch solche Bereiche besichtigt werden, die bei den üblichen Führungen nicht anstehen.

We proudly present: The Founder's Night #33.

This month, we host the event at the famous pub Gaffel am Dom, where you'll  have a great view of the Cathedral!

Once again, we managed to get great speakers on board: Timo Marks, founder of Die Schuhleister and Daniel Grüderich, founder of SportsbookCloud.

At Die Schuhleister, Timo and his team digitalize the market for bespoke shoes - they scan your feet, 3D print the perfect shoe last for you and make the data available to the manufacturers.

SportsbookCloud offers a software solution for sports betting sites and casinos. Daniel has already acquired internatioanl customers and will give us exciting insights into the world of gambling. We're especially eager to learn about his new project "betting on eSports", which will go live in November.
