the last lecture week of this summer semester is coming to an end and the occupancy phase for next semester starts today.
In today's newsletter you will find information about the dates for exam inspections an the IHK courses in the next semester.

1st occupancy phase for the winter term 2019/2020 has started
We would like to draw your attention to the dates of the lecture management for the winter semester 2019/20:
Today, Wednesday, July 10 2019, the 1st occupancy phase of the WiSo faculty has started.
In this phase only parts of the WiSo lectures will be attended. An exact list of the courses that can be attended can be found here under the heading "First phase of enrolment".
The 1st phase of the study ends on July 29 2019. The final publication of the results takes place on August 12 2019. Please note that there may still be changes to the participant lists until then.

Please note the website that lists all dates for inspections of exams which have been taken at the WiSo Faculty.
You can find this page (only in German language) on our website about exam inspection.
This webpage will be updated throughout the semester. Therefore, we recommend to take a look at it regularly.

Train the Trainer – Certificate course at the ProfessionalCenter
Are you interested in working as a trainer, lecturer or coach?
Starting in September 2019, the ProfessionalCenter in cooperation with the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce will again offer the "Train the Trainer" certificate course for students.
In this course you will get to know the didactic-methodical basics of adult education and develop your own seminar concept.
After successfully completing this course, you can have yourself tested as a "Trainer_in (IHK)" at the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). The course can be credited in the Studium Integrale.
The course runs for a total of two semesters.
Students can apply for the Bachelor's and Master's programmes at the University of Cologne.
The application deadline is 15.08.2019.

WiSo Slogan Contest
Currently, the WiSo faculty is refreshing its mission and vision. Simultaneously, we want to update the faculty slogan as well. All members of WiSo are invited to participate in this process.
To achieve this, we have created an open and transparent innovation process:
The WiSo Slogan Contest
Our aim is to find a concise and contemporary slogan that any member of WiSo can identify with.
A slogan to communicate what WiSo is all about, both internally and externally.
A slogan that states who we are, what we do and where we make a difference.
From 27.06. - 15.07. all members of WiSo are invited to hand in ideas for a new slogan.
