The Cologne Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo Faculty) offers its students the exclusive opportunity to acquire the prestigious CEMS Master’s in International Management (CEMS MIM). CEMS MIM is a joint international degree program furnished in collaboration with
CEMS – The Global Alliance in Management Education. Cologne’s WiSo Faculty is the sole German member of the CEMS network, which currently comprises 26 first-class business schools around the globe and over 70 multinational corporations and 4 social partners.
Participants and curriculum
The CEMS Master’s in International Management is a one-year masters program to supplement and accompany Cologne Master’s degree studies. The CEMS MIM is studied during the second year of the regular masters studies and equips highly qualified students with the knowledge and experience needed for careers in a multinational business environment.
In order to obtain the CEMS MIM degree students need to successfully complete the Master of Science (MSc) at the University of Cologne. Participants of the CEMS MIM need to fulfil the admission requirements for the regular MSc in Business Administration.

Focus
The program is distinguished by its international focus and strong links to practice. Alongside internationally aligned courses, skill seminars and business projects, it includes an internship abroad as well as a term abroad at a foreign CEMS institution.
The quality of CEMS MIM is underscored by its excellent results in the Financial Times Master’s in Management Ranking that rates the professional success of graduates. Thus, the MIM program has continually held one of the first three places since the ranking was introduced in 2005.
