The Double Masters Programme in European Studies provides highly qualified students with the opportunity to profit from the first class expertise of two universities. Participants study at each university for one year and graduate with two master degrees from these renowned institutions: The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, University of Cologne, and the 
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Maastricht University.
The Double Masters Program in European studies is positioned with a strong focus on the European Union, its policies and institutions. Students gain in-depth knowledge of the EU and interdisciplinary research skills. The Double Masters programme prepares students for responsible jobs in the private or public sector which require international expertise combined with profund knowledge of the European Union. Students graduating from this Double Degree have the skills and the qualifications to work for example in European and national institutions as well as in NGOs and media.
Holding a German and a Dutch Master's Degree, the graduates have also excellent perspectives on the European and the international labor market.
