Mummert Scholarships for Tomorrow’s Managers in Central and Eastern
EuropeThe Mummert Grant Program at Cologne University comprises a four-semester course of study in business economics leading to a masters degree. Integrated in the course is a four- or five-month internship, usually completed in the summer semester of the second year of study. The agenda also includes versatile support and cultural programs. The scholarship extends over a term of altogether five semesters.
During their studies at the Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo) Faculty, Mummert scholars are looked after by the Faculty’s International Relations Centre – ZIB-WiSo.
Applicant Profile
- Students of the economic sciences, business administration & engineering, or another economics-related discipline from one of the following countries: Bulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary.
- Bachelor’s degree (or last year of bachelor studies) in an economic science
- Very good grades
- Excellent command of German
- Management potential
- Strong personality/ enthusiasm
- Social commitment
- Aim for a career in one’s home country
Benefits of the Mummert Foundation
- Grant rate: €850 - €900 per month
- Research aid: €228 per semester
- Travel allowance for outward and return journey: €150 - €250
- Laptop allowance: €700
