The Offer for International Guest Students
The Cologne Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo Faculty) offers its students an enormous selection of study fields and specialization options. The interdisciplinary approach thus taken seeks to link up the Faculty’s four subject divisions: Business Administration, Economics, Political Sciences and Sociology.
As reflected in the WiSo Faculty’s mission statement, “Innovation for society”, excellent research coupled with close ties to the economy has resulted in top positions in a variety of rankings. In addition, its central campus location and strong focus on internationalization – with over 300 guest students annually – have made the Faculty an ideal place for exchange semesters.
Incoming guest students are not only enabled to choose from a wide-ranging and attractive course offer – whether they wish to study in German or English – but also receive comprehensive advice and support from the WiSo International Relations Center (ZIB-WiSo). The German language course free of charge, Welcome Days, a Buddy Programme and
Student Club activities all guarantee that international students will quickly find their way into Cologne University life.
